Project Exhibitionist is a 3D sandbox game about exhibitionism and humiliation. Play as Ciel, a
girl who, following a challenge, decides to leave her home completely naked. Discover all the
points of interest and create your own story thanks to the game’s complete customization.
Update v1.2.0 is here! You can now take a seat on a bench around town and
save and share your own body paint presets. We’ve seen some of the designs
you’ve made, and they were too good to lose! 🥺
The LONG WAITED Steam Workshop is now open! This is our first time
supporting mods through Steam Workshop, so there may be a few rough edges. If you’re a
modder, we’d love to hear how it goes when you try to get your mod working with the game.
Tell us what works, where you get stuck, and what would make the process easier (join our
Discord server)
All Workshop submissions must follow Steam’s Community Rules and Guidelines.
To keep the Workshop welcoming for everyone, we’ll remove content that violates those
rules.
ABOUT CRASHES. Thank you for sending us your feedback and bug reports. Your
reports helped us track down issues with loading, scene transitions, and achievements.
This update reduces memory usage in several areas, fixes a rendering issue that could cause
the GPU to hang, and gives you a choice when loading stalls.
We’re continuing to investigate freezes and crashes reported during longer sessions.
Here’s the full changelog.
Added
Ciel and NPCs can now sit on benches around the city and at points of
interest. Ciel can use her phone, take seated selfies, and use Photo Mode while sitting.
Added a Steam Workshop browser to the main menu, with search, previews,
subscriptions, and downloads. The update also adds opt-in support for code mods, with
protections for ranked scores.
Added custom body paint presets. Save and reload named designs, export
the body and face as two PNGs to the game’s Bodypaints folder, or import
a pair shared by another player.
Performance & Stability
Fixed an issue that could leave the world partially loaded after
returning Home or leaving a point of interest such as the Stadium. The game now waits for
the required world and player systems before handing back control.
Added recovery options for stalled loads. Choose
Keep Waiting to let loading continue or
Return to Main Menu to go back.
Reduced memory usage for selected textures through more efficient
compression that preserves their appearance.
The previous run’s procedural world is now cleared after you arrive Home, freeing its
resources earlier.
Scene transitions release unused assets before loading the next area, reducing how much of
the old and new areas must be held in memory at once.
Fixed cached point-of-interest assets being kept in memory when returning to the main
menu.
Fixed temporary phone previews and graphics resources lingering in memory after they were
no longer needed.
Precomputed mesh collision data during the build to reduce collision setup work during
loading.
Improved NPC loading so a missing NPC model is less likely to interrupt preparation of the
rest of the crowd.
Fixed a Forward+ lighting issue that could cause the GPU to hang under
certain combinations of lights and reflection probes.
Improved performance near the swimming pool.
Fixed
Fixed the requirements for Human Explorer and Explorer (sincere apologies to anyone who was currently attempting these achievements 😭😭). Both now use the eight destinations shown on the map, including the
subway. The Mall gym is no longer a separate requirement.
Human Explorer requires all eight in a single eligible run, while
Explorer counts visits across runs.
Fixed Exit dialogue skipping lines before they could be read.
Fixed pausing during The Long Way Home completion or the arrival sequence
at Home interrupting the transition.
Fixed revisited areas in Classic Mode sometimes using a different layout.
Fixed mud interactions triggering from invalid positions or through obstacles.
Fixed distorted subway passenger models and a body rig issue affecting the Stadium
referee.
Fixed riding poses failing to restore when remounting after certain interactions.
Fixed worn clothes and items losing track of their equipped state when moved between
inventory slots.
Fixed the Head Bag stopping its durability timer while still worn after
selecting another item or a clothing slot.
Restored the body paint for Clown 1. The full preset now applies both
face and body paint.
Improvements
Subway rides now take you to a real station about 500 m away, and you can
ride back.
Home is now marked on both the minimap and the expanded map. When it’s
outside the visible map area, an arrow at the edge points toward it.
Improved hand poses and camera framing while seated. NPCs can stay on benches longer and
react more naturally to nearby activity.
If you run into an issue after updating, please use the dedicated bug-report section on our
Discord. Include your PC specs and what you were doing just before the issue. For a freeze or
crash, it also helps to know roughly how long you’d been playing and which area you were in.
Thanks for playing and supporting Project Exhibitionist!💜
